Affiliate Disclosure

Hello and thank you for reading my blog – I hope that you’re finding it useful and informative! As part of the blog I make use of affiliate links to promote genealogy/ family history resources and products. I only promote products that I use myself as part of my research, that I believe to be high quality and that I think will be beneficial to my readers.

If you subscribe or purchase these products through following one of the affiliate links on In Times Gone By, I will earn commission entirely paid for by the vendor. There will be no additional cost to you.

I disclose the use of affiliate links throughout my blog as follows:

Blog posts

Blog posts containing affiliate links will have the following disclaimer right at the top of the post under the blog title:

“This post contains affiliate links. This means that I get a commission if you choose to purchase/ subscribe to a product through my links. This is at no additional cost to you. Read the full disclosure here.”

Pages or blog posts with very few affiliate links

Where there are very few affiliate links on a page or blog post an affiliate disclosure may appear as follows:

Product/ Service name [affiliate]

For example, on of the resources that I personally use a lot and therefore mention a lot in this blog would appear like this:

Ancestry.co.uk [affiliate]

If you have any questions about my use of affiliate links or how they are disclosed please feel free to contacts me at scarlett@intimesgoneby.co.uk.

Thank you,

Scarlett
